How can I obtain a evaluation version of PortSIP VoIP SDK and PortSIP IVR SDK?
You can always download the latest evaluation version of PortSIP VoIP SDK and IVR SDK on the download page(http://www.portsip.com/downoads.htm).

How can I purchase PortSIP VoIP SDK?

Does it support video call?
Yes, it's supports the video call: H.263, H.263-1998 and H.264 codecs, support 720P.

Does it support record phone conversation?
Yes, phone conversation recording feature is supported, it can be recording the audio and video conference conversation too.

What functional limitations does the evaluation version of PortSIP VoIP SDK have?
The evaluation version allows only 2-6 minutes for a conversation, it will be cut off automatically after 2-6 minutes

Does it support DTMF?
Yes, REC2833 and SIP INFO method are supported.

What codecs does it support?
Audio: G711 A-Law, G711 U-Law, G.722, G.722.1, AMR-WB, SPEEX, SPEEX-WB, iLBC, G.723.1, G.729 and GSM 6.10 are supported.
Video: H.263, H.263-1998, H.264 are supported.

Can you customize your software specifically for our needs ?

Can I use Microsoft Visual Basic with the SDK?
Yes. Microsoft Visual Basic 2005 and higher are supported. You can download the sample at http://www.portsip.com/downloads.htm

Can I use Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 with the SDK?
No, for compatibles Vista reason, PortSIP VoIP SDK does not supported Visual C++ 6.0.

Can I use Borland Delphi with the SDK?
Yes. PortSIP VoIP SDK supports Borland Delphi 6.0/7.0 and higher.

Can I use CodeGear Delphi/C++ builder with the SDK?
Yes. PortSIP VoIP SDK supports CodeGear Delphi 2007 and higher.

Can I use Microsoft Visual C++ with the SDK?
Yes, Microsoft Visual C++ 8.0 and higher.

How to get the best voice quality?
Most of mobile computers have an embedded microphone and speaker. Make sure that your microphone is good enough by trying to record your speech. In order to get better audio quality and avoid echo, you may use headset, Blue Tooth, and wired headset etc;
We strongly recommend you to install the latest version of operating system, sound and network drivers, and DirectX (check with dxdiag.exe, it should be 9.0 or higher).
Check your Internet connectivity by pinging your party's IP address. A proper response time is below 100 ms unless the party you are calling is from Down Under. If the ping time seems too large, you Internet connection is too busy now. Try to stop any other activity. If the problem persists, ask your Internet provider or system administrator to fix it.
For the best voice quality, use the G.722.1, AMR-WB codec on broadband, on dialup try the G.729, iLBC, or other codecs;

How to test the refer feature?
We have provide two AVI files to show to to run the refer feature, one for attended refer: http://www.portsip.com/downloads/voip/attendedtransfer.rar;
Another one for blind refer: http://www.portsip.com/downloads/voip/blindtransfer.rar. Just download and use the windows media player play it.
