Provisioning IP Phone via TFTP Server
TFTP (Trivial File Transfer Protocol) is usually used for automated file transfer between machines on UDP Port 69. In PortSIP PBX TFTP is used to upload firmware files to Phones and implement auto provisioning.
1. Install TFTP server
2. Configure PumpKIN as your TFTP server
From the PumpKIN menu go to “Options” > “Server” > “TFTP file system root”, point PumpKIN to the provisioning folder of your PortSIP PBX. The default location is C:/Program Files/PortSIP/PBX/data/provision/out. This folder will be used to place files that you need to upload via TFTP or download.
Other options can be set as needed.
Now you have a TFTP server installed. You can start updating your phones.
