PortSIP PBX v16.1.2

November 30, 2023, PortSIP, a leading developer of next-generation unified communications solutions, announced the release of PortSIP PBX v16.1.2, available for both Windows and Linux platforms.

This minor release, PBX v16.1.2, primarily addresses bug fixes and is recommended for all users.

Key Updates in PortSIP PBX Release v16.1.2:

  • An option has been added to use the last six digits of the IP Phone’s MAC address as the IP Phone web UI password.
  • A bug has been fixed that affected the search functionality for contacts by name, display name, and extension number.
  • A bug has been fixed that affected the synchronization of instant messages between apps when a user was logged into the mobile app, WebRTC client, and Windows app simultaneously.
  • A bug has been fixed that prevented the G.729 codec from being enabled for the provision of SNOM phones.
  • A bug has been fixed that caused the BLF key to not work with Fanvil W611W.
  • A bug has been fixed that caused one-way audio with some trunks if the PBX server OS had IPv6 disabled.
  • The voice prompt for announcing the queue position in Italian has been improved.
