PortSIP PBX v22.3.0 represents one of our most significant releases to date. This version introduces a new real-time analytics architecture, deep CRM integration, AI-powered transcription, and enterprise-grade security and administration controls, helping service providers deliver competitive UCaaS, CCaaS, and Cloud PBX services at scale.

 

New Services and Core Capabilities

Introducing the Data Flow Service

The new Data Flow Service enables real-time analytics, advanced reporting, and scalable data processing.

Key capabilities include:

  • All-new Call Reports with richer metrics

  • Enhanced CDRs with additional filters

  • Redesigned Dashboards and Wallboards for queue and agent performance

  • Real-time data pipelines built for high-volume, multi-tenant environments


 

CRM Integration (Zoho & HubSpot)

PortSIP PBX now integrates directly with leading CRM platforms, starting with Zoho and HubSpot.

Included capabilities:
  • Automatic contact synchronization

  • Call logging directly into the CRM

  • Ability to create and edit call notes

  • Unified interaction tracking across the PortSIP PBX and PortSIP ONE App

CRM Contacts Category

A new CRM Contacts section clearly separates CRM-synchronized contacts from local contacts, improving usability and data clarity for agents and supervisors.


 

AI Transcription Service

PortSIP PBX v22.3.0 introduces automatic transcription for calls and voicemails using AWS and Microsoft Azure AI services.

  • Supports both live calls and voicemails

  • Transcriptions are available in the PBX Web Portal and the PortSIP ONE App

  • Designed for compliance, quality assurance, and customer insight use cases


 

Administration and Access Control

Multiple System Administrators

Support for creating multiple system administrator accounts, removing single-admin limitations.

New Administrator Roles

Two new predefined administrator roles are available:

  • Operations Admin

  • Site Admin

Custom Administrator Roles

Administrators can now define custom roles with fine-grained permissions, enabling flexible role-based access control.

User App Access Limits

Per-tenant controls allow administrators to limit the number of users who can access:

  • The PortSIP ONE App

  • The Microsoft Teams Phone App


 

Security and Compliance Enhancements

Recording and Voicemail File Protection

Access control for recordings and voicemail files has been strengthened:

  • Each file includes both a Public Link and a Private Link

  • Private Links require credential verification and role-based permission validation

  • Tenant admins can choose whether Public or Private Links are pushed to the CRM

  • All access events are logged in the Audit Log

Enhanced Audit Logging

Audit logging has been expanded with additional filters and more detailed tracking of administrator and user activity.


 

Telephony and Call Handling Enhancements

Virtual Receptionist Security

Administrators can now block direct extension dialing from the Virtual Receptionist to prevent callers from bypassing IVR menus.

Queue and Ring Group Enhancements
  • Night Mode can be configured per IVR, Queue, or Ring Group

  • Queue Exit Options allow callers to leave a queue proactively

  • Configurable Agent Wrap-Up Time

  • Periodic Announcements during queue waiting

  • Agent Pause Codes for improved reporting accuracy

Trunk Enhancements
  • Support for the tel: URI scheme

  • Maximum call duration configuration per trunk

  • Outbound rule enhancements to support SMS routing

Voicemail Improvements
  • Minimum voicemail PIN length decreased to four digits

Call Routing Enhancement
  • Calls declined by an extension now follow the Busy Forwarding Rule

The system now automatically adapts to IPv6 environments without manual configuration.

WebSocket Interface (WSI)

The WebSocket Interface now supports subscription to global queue events within a tenant, enabling real-time integrations and dashboards.


 

Bug Fixes and Stability Improvements

  • Resolved issues related to the Diversion Header

  • Additional stability and performance improvements across PBX core services
