PortSIP is pleased to announce the release of PortSIP PBX v22.2.16 and SBC 11 v11.1.8, delivering key stability improvements and bug fixes across our robust and flexible Unified Communications platform. These updates are part of our continued commitment to performance, reliability, and service excellence for our customers and partners.

What’s New in PortSIP PBX v22.2.16

Expanded Language Support

This release introduces full support for German, Dutch, and Vietnamese, including localized voice prompts and user interface text. This makes it easier to deploy PortSIP PBX in diverse, multilingual environments.

Key Bug Fixes

  • WSI Notifications: Fixed an issue where notifications were not sent when an extension signed out.

  • IPv6 Push Notifications: Resolved a bug where incoming calls via push notifications could not be answered in IPv6 deployments.

  • AWS SES Email Delivery: Addressed a compatibility issue with Amazon SES that previously caused email delivery failures.

  • Chat Group Membership: Fixed a bug where extensions removed from chat groups were re-added after signing back in.

What’s New in PortSIP SBC v11.1.8

Codec Transcoding Configuration

This release adds support for configuring codec transcoding, giving administrators more control over media interoperability and helping ensure compatibility with external SIP endpoints.
