PortSIP PBX v22.8.1: Maintenance Release

PortSIP ONE app

Release Date: October 13, 2026

PortSIP PBX v22.8.1 is a maintenance release that improves call routing behavior and addresses issues with Executive Assistant calls, outbound rules, blacklist updates, IP phone provisioning, and IPv6 support. It also includes performance and security improvements.

Enhancements

  • When a trunk reaches its concurrent call limit, the PBX now returns SIP 403 instead of 609 or 610.

  • Improved performance and security.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where a call from an Executive Assistant to an executive could be routed to another available assistant. The call now rings the executive directly.

  • Fixed an issue where an outbound rule assigned to a User Group was not matched when a group member used *54 to transfer a call to a trunk.

  • Fixed an issue where Call Manager continued to apply a blacklist rule after it was deleted from the PBX Web Portal.

  • Fixed an issue where network settings could cause Grandstream phones to restart repeatedly after auto-provisioning.

  • Fixed an issue where NGINX was not listening on IPv6.

  • Fixed an issue where the PortSIP favicon could briefly appear when a system administrator switched to a tenant with a custom favicon or switched back to the system administrator view.
