PortSIP PBX v22.9.1 and SBC v11.2.10 Released: Enhanced Reliability and User Experience

PortSIP Cloud PBX

Release Date: Nov 4, 2026

We’re pleased to announce the release of PortSIP PBX v22.9.1 and PortSIP SBC v11.2.10, bringing important bug fixes, enhanced WebRTC capabilities, improved authentication, and a more streamlined user experience.

These updates reinforce our commitment to delivering reliable, secure, and feature-rich unified communications and contact center solutions.

PortSIP PBX v22.9.1: Reliability and Call Handling Improvements

1. Fixed Daylight Saving Time (DST) Handling

We’ve resolved an issue caused by a third-party open-source date/time library that could result in incorrect local time calculations when processing daylight saving time.

This fix improves the accuracy of time calculations across different time zones, helping ensure that time-dependent PBX operations behave as expected.

2. Fixed Music on Hold for REST API Calls

We’ve fixed an issue where callers placed on hold through the PortSIP PBX REST API could not hear music on hold (MOH).

With this fix, the held party can now hear the configured music on hold when a call is placed on hold using the REST API, providing a more consistent calling experience.

3. Legacy Call Reports Removed

As part of our ongoing efforts to simplify system management, we’ve removed the legacy Call Statistics > Call Reports feature.

Users should now access call reports through Data Analytics > Reports for call reporting and analysis.

PortSIP SBC v11.2.10: Enhanced WebRTC and Contact Center Experience

PortSIP SBC v11.2.10 introduces significant improvements to the built-in PortSIP ONE WebRTC client, including enhanced authentication, configurable user interfaces, and expanded contact center capabilities.

1. Identity Provider (IdP) Integration and OIDC Login

Added support for Identity Provider (IdP) integration and OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication, enabling users to sign in through supported identity providers.

2. Template-Based Feature and Permission Controls

Administrators can now use client templates to control which features and settings are visible, hidden, or read-only.

Additional template-based restrictions allow administrators to control queue login/logout operations and agent status changes, providing greater flexibility in managing contact center workflows.

3. Enhanced Contact Center Capabilities
  • Wallboard Agent Controls: Added support for managing agent status directly from the Wallboard page.

  • Enhanced Screen Pop: Added an answered-number parameter and support for launching external applications.

  • Poly Headset Support: Added compatibility with Poly headsets.

4. Improved WebRTC User Experience
  • System Notifications: Prevented users signing in for the first time from receiving pop-up notifications for previously received messages.

  • Group Chat: Improved group chat functionality and introduced a Clear Data option.

  • Anonymous Calling: Added a Make anonymous call option to the Outbound Caller ID dropdown on the dial pad and to client settings.

5. WebRTC Sign-In Fix

Fixed an issue that prevented WebRTC clients from signing in after the default WSS port was deleted and a new WSS port was configured.
