PortSIP PBX v22.9.0 is a major release introducing user synchronization and Single Sign-On (SSO) with OpenID Connect and SAML 2.0, Skyetel support for voice calls and SMS/MMS, and expanded reporting capabilities.

This release also adds Data Flow deployment options for HA environments, improves administration and phone provisioning, and includes security updates and reliability fixes.

New Features and Enhancements

OpenID Connect and SAML 2.0 User Synchronization and SSO

PortSIP PBX now supports user synchronization and SSO using OpenID Connect and SAML 2.0, helping organizations integrate their communications platform with their identity management environment.

These capabilities simplify user administration and let users sign in through their configured identity provider.

Skyetel Support for Voice and Messaging

PortSIP PBX now supports Skyetel SIP trunks for voice calls and SMS/MMS, giving customers another connectivity option for voice and business messaging services.

Security Updates

PortSIP PBX v22.9.0 updates Node.js to 24.22.1 and NGINX to 1.30.6, addressing multiple CVEs in these underlying components.

Expanded Reporting and Data Flow Deployment Options

Report output limits are now 50,000 records for HTML and 1,000,000 records for CSV, with report file compression supported for easier storage and transfer.

Service providers can also run multiple Data Flow instances on a single server to serve multiple HA PBX deployments, providing more flexibility when planning their reporting infrastructure. This release updates ClickHouse to 26.3.45.

Administration and Phone Provisioning

Administrative improvements include audit logging and notifications when tenants move between dealers, additional WSI event subscriptions, and more flexible manual welcome email delivery.

Phone provisioning updates add templates for additional models, contact configuration support for Avaya phones, and a shorter Night Mode display name that fits in full on the phone screen.
